I thought the same when I saw the Bears and Cougars flags but I missed Rock Knight until you pointed it out.

Considering the #1 Boss mug on Ridley's desk, it doesn't look like he's all that annoyed about not being playable. Probably likes being a "giant boss character."

As soon as I saw Ridley announced for smash today, I immediately thought of this image.

I imagine this is his reaction to all the porn of him and Samus. Given his hatred for humans, he probably thinks she looks disgusting.
