The silence of the summer afternoon was broken by a faint roar. Growing louder and louder, it echoed through the mountains as it got closer. Werther eagerly looked through the viewfinder of his camera, expecting the racecar to come over the hilltop any second. Soon enough the striped machine appeared.

Satisfied with getting a picture, the ferret let his camera hang freely around his neck while watching the car approach and enter the forest. The driver barely even lifted the throttle when he threw his opel around the corner just a few meters in front of Werther. The right front wheel ever so slightly touched the bollard marking the inside, kicking up dust and throwing rocks towards the lone spectator. The car followed the road deeper into the woods, now again only a sound fading in the distance.
