Lately I’ve been thinking about how Spanx has the energy of someone who would play the drums (if they were in a zootopia or smthng scenario) but I would like to know know your opinion on the matter. Also I remember that in your sweet escape palette challenge, you mentioned that Sweet Escape from Gwen Stefani was “one of their songs”…do you perhaps have a playlist and if you do would you be so kind to share it 👀

Can we talk about this ??? That is an amazing headcanon and it totally fits. He can’t destroy public property anymore so what better way to let out his pent up rage than to learn the drums. But I raise your idea and add this:
Redmond would be his vocalist. He has a smart mouth he can’t control and he’s loud so screaming into a mic to accompany Spanx’s crazy beat seems like something he’d love to do. They don’t have a guitarist yet but they’d have a 2000’s nu metal vibe but make it nightcore cause Red’s voice is so high haha.
As for the “Zootopia-esque” au where they’re proper anthros living in society? I was actually workshopping that idea a month or so ago.

Guess I have to post what I have for it now but to keep things brief, they’re not lab experiments but work in a factory with poor safety precautions and no regard for their staff. They’re also roomates. But now I want to add them starting a band to this au as a way of coping while they figure out how to take the company down.Lastly, yes I do have a playlist! But it’s on my pc and a bit of a mess if you don’t get my reasoning behind certain songs ha. So I made a condensed version that gets the general vibe of their dynamic.

Fun fact: The Patsy Cline song is in there because Redmond was gushing about it to Spanx in one scene so I like to think that one is his personal favorite. I purposefully excluded character specific songs in this playlist to keep to just the duo but this song kinda fits both and I couldn’t leave it out.
Sorry for the lengthy response but I really loved answering this one, it gave me a lot to work with!
