'Among My Happiness and Joy'

Marle Talbender had a rough childhood. Her zealot father subjected her to atrocities per the world mandated Script. Once left abandoned in an orphanage primarily because it was 'fated' to be so, she escaped with many others. She ultimately found refuge with an old kamori goat who taught her how to craft and create her own plushies that she later began calling Tammy. All these Tammys became her only friends in those long years of isolation. There would be merchants and traders - all males looking for something fun for the night. She'd trade her body for goods, food and materials to create more of her friends. It was an existence, but she never felt truly safe or 'home.'

That changed when she met Max Wolford - a raccoon who was different than others. He seemed to view the world differently and interact strangely. However, Marle connected with him immediately and although they were both species and size differences apart, they made it work. Her outlook changed. There was someone worth living for and devoting her entire life and attention to. He healed the cracks and crevices of her fractured mind into something whole. Now she created Tammys for two people who disliked social interaction with everyone but each other. Whenever we he wasn't around, she created a special plushy to remind herself of his presence. This plushy was not Tammy like the others. It was Max. Reveling in the friends she had created, she awaited the moment Max would return home, crawl into the bed, put his loving paws on her and make her whole again. She was home.
