Ohai! It's been a while, isn't it? Decided to actually finish a proper work and post it here. It's only been, what, more than 1 year? Haha...

At last, my first proper work of Silver the Hedgehog. I've wanted to create a picture of him since quite a while, but never really had the chance. Or I never were satisfied with any of them. For those who don't know him, he's the guy from the future coming to the present to save his present. Kinda like DBZ Trunks (personality too -at least at first). He's casting one of ability called "Psychic Knife". That may sound really weird for some people, but I really love this character's design and personality. No, not the one portrayed on most of the games, but actually the ones the art community give him (naive, pretty happy and a bit immature), and probably the one that Sonic Team is slowing going towards to.

This is the first time I try to do everything in one layer. What a pain it was! At first it was going to be a simple comic-style black hard block shading. Then I changed my mind and just did values. Then wondered how the heck I should colour it. I just went over it and probably ended coloring it twice. You can see traces of areas where I didn't go over completely but I'm pretty happy about the end result. May keep the approach. And yeah, lazy background is lazy. But for once, I think the simplicity is what is best here.
