This is a reference to one of Lollie Dew's streams, where she was playing Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped and was happily collecting all the gems without having to worry about Time Trials. At least that was the goal, but as it turns out, Time Trials with at least gold is required for the final gem.

The creature is my best attempt at drawing a klushund, a legendary demonic dog from Vorarlberg (Austria). Interestingly, which I learned after finishing the artwork, the legend is that a traitor who helped Sweden attack Bregenz (in Vorarlberg) in 1647 was transformed into the klushund.
