Zig Zag Sculpture design sketch

If you've seen the Zig Zag resin figurines from United Publications, this was an early unused design sketch for that. There was a lot of debate over this figure behind the scenes. Part of the discussion was about whether the figure should be based on my drawing style (to match Sabrina Online figures already produced) or Max's. (for the record, I thought it was a better idea to shoot for Max's style). The early concept (on which this drawing is based) was to have a figure which could be set either lying on its front, or sitting up on its knees. I said this wouldn't work very well, as certain things (like breasts) would look quite different in those different positions thanks to gravity, meaning a solid figurine would either look quite unnatural in one of the two poses, or possibly both. I tried my best to make a decent compromise with these criteria, but I'm ever so glad they decided to go another way with the final figure design.

P.S. Yes, Max was in on the design process of this figure all the way. It's only fair.
