With a crackling pop my pelvis pitched forward, sending me toppling down from my precarious stance atop stretching feet on their way to becoming thick, feline paws and onto all fours. Scarcely had I the time to find my bearings from this new point of view when a surging pressure in my jaw pushed outward, teeth flowing together into a dark beak... whilst nub like wings grew out from my back and ill fitting clothes began to slide off my form. I'd have to get off this trail, and quickly too, before anyone spotted me!
