On the first night of the Neon Nights Festival, and already Storm has lost Amy among the mass crowd of fur and flesh (more flesh than anything...).

The hedgehog squeezed and pushed his way through the various Islanders as they danced to the music that bounced its way for miles and miles, always leaving a ringing in his ears, but it surprisingly never hurt.

Storm figured that even if he could talk, he wouldn't even be able to hear himself over anything else.

He waddled through the endless crowd, eventually circling back to where he last saw Amy, near one of the concession stands.

Sure enough, not too far away, there she was.

Amy was dancing with a bunch of strangers, a mix of foxes, wolves, hedgehogs, and even a couple giraffes, all swinging their hips as the music intensified through the nearby speakers. They looked almost completely disassociated from everything around them, and already he knew they were high off their ass on... something.

And if Amy was with them, then...

He approached the small crowd, and almost as if she knew, Amy turned around, and their eyes met.

Her large, dilated pupils greeted him back.

Before he could act, she already had her arms wrapped around her neck as she rushed him, pushing her body against his and pulling him in for a sickeningly warm hug.

"Storm! You found me!" Amy lightly slurred with more excitement in her voice than he even knew she was capable of.

She pulled away slightly, her hands pressed against his cheek, almost as if using them for support.

Storm gave an awkward smile and raised his hands.

"Hey...!" he signed to her slowly. "You, uh... You feeling alright?"

Amy's grin somehow got only bigger.

"Alright? I feel AMAZING! This is the best night EVER! The music is sooooo good!"

The pink little hedgehog bounced on the balls of her feet, practically unable to contain her enthusiasm.

In spite of everything, somehow... Storm couldn't help but find it incredibly adorable.

"You should try some of this stuff too!"
