MemberAnd the lore behind it, is that once there was a massive storm that flooded a vast area, and killed most animals in there. Then a Jiboia (Boa contrictor) survived, and in a egotistical and gluttonous act, decided to feast solely on the eyes of them.
The gods, angry at such act, cursed the snake; making all the eyes inside of the snake to crawl out and catch fire, constantly causing it pain. Additionally, they tasked it with guarding the future animals of the land, so the fauna could heal. Thus creating the legend of a fire snake that hunt those that invade the forest.
