Generally, the friendly being known as Big Bird is classified as an unknown species of modern bird. I would like to formally posit that he is more closely related to ornithomimosaurian dinosaurs instead, specifically Deinocheirus.
The three large fingers are the best evidence for this assertion, but I would also like (with Mr. Bird’s permission of course) to x-ray his tail to see whether or not it is bony like a ornithomimosaur.
