Memberif your reading this you might wanna look at how teh O2 works at certain Altitudes.. as you can indeed get High on Oxygen and breath liquid oxygen.. once you get use of the sensation of drowning :/
Spartant117
Memberthe main reason is to make sure you arent gonna by hypoxic. at higher altitudes the air is so thIn that you dont get enough oxygen from breathing. you go hypoic and your brain is brely functioning, it happen quick. gotta make sure you can breathe before helping someone else breathe, otherwise you end up with two hypoxic people who cant help anyone including themselves
also searching up hypoxia on youtube can show aircrew members in training, usually ones who fail, but they gat help from instructors before too long.
Entitxy
MemberTo add, basically part of it is that anyone will survive a minute of hypoxia with minimal if any lasting effects; however, by, say, helping your kid first, you quickly make yourself incapable of helping yourself, therefore dooming you and potentially your kid if they do kid things
