Hell nah, that game was trash.

Command was legitimately the worst thing to happen to the franchise and you cannot convince me - or the vast majority of the fanbase for that matter - otherwise.

Sorry but Command was the worst thing the series had to offer. Sure, Zero wasn't perfect, but at least it was made with fun designs, levels that were varied and unique, and gameplay that wasn't 90% the worst aspects of Fire Emblem with none of the charm. Zero's controls was a bit overthought for my liking, but at least it didn't' hurt my hand to play for more than 15 minutes at a time like command.

Plus, as seen in this post, all of the art was bad. Just bad.

Why are so many people downvoting it? It's just one of the many alternate and unclear endings to a game that would have sold better using literally ANY alternative control scheme.

I like the art style and I think the Star Fox series having alternate endings is a pretty unique take on gaming.
I can see that people are letting their nostalgia and hatred for the game cloud their judgment but IMO any game with different routes to different endings
are actually pretty cool.
I never played this game and I feel people are unjustly downvoting because they remember their "bad experience" rather than just admiring the picture.

Should've kept the Japanese name "Krazoa" for her Or at the very least something less ridiculous than Kursed. I still see potential in Krystal if they kept her going this route, but it would need serious tweaking.

This is all her fault if she should't be with StarWolf and trying to hurt Fox's feeling non of this would happen. This is Krystal the last survivor of Cerinian lost her homeplanet, no friends, no family. I hope she fucking happy killing wanted crimimals in other planet.

a lot of the games were in some fashion. i think it was after this game specifically they cleaned out some of the canon for the series but i could be remembering incorrectly.

I like the star wolf dynamic but I welcome the Kursed path as it shows a big development change of the character

And Command wasn't anywhere near having the best execution on multiple endings in the series. Star Fox 64 has 2 different endings and is also a starfox game, not shitty fire emblem.

You are also completely ignoring all the flaws the game has, because you like one meat thing you heard the game does, while it completely torpedoes what people liked and played Star Fox for. It is probably Nintendo's most mishandled series BY FAR

Not to mention that the change in art direction is rumored in part to have been an attempt to reduce the amount of ahem, "fanservice" artwork that was growing withing the fandom at this point in time. Even if untrue, it certainly looks worse. The 64 era starfox character designs were peak.
