Pools are clean... right? At least that's what Christy assumes with all the chlorine they put in them. Still, better to be safe than sorry, so she's wearing her full body diving suit in other to actually attempt to be part of the fun. Granted... I'm not sure she's happy with how everything turned out. That's what she gets for trying I suppose...
Side note, Christy does expand when exposed to things that'd make her sneeze, aka dust, pollen, etc. Hence one of the many reasons she tries to stay clean.
