An upcoming one page comic for FurAfterDark featuring Daisy who hasn't had any regular work (in my drawing at least) in the BNW setting since early 2000s when I first scribbled some of these characters. She was going to appear in an early BNW story for #5 but the story with her and Derrick got lost and was replaced by the one with Grace and Nan (on the plus side the Goat story inspired a great cover for the issue). Apart from an appearance in a commission in 2008 (I think) that was never paid for, she hadn't appeared again until the last couple of years with a cameo for another commission set (doing CCR4 for thedormouse thedormouse ) and a pin up for FAD in 2018 and a spat of recent pictures after being inspired to draw her again after the last "Ask Sasha & Co."
This comic had began as just a FAD pin-up of a model (Daisy) and her photographer giving the workaday aspect of a pRawn studio like LSE or ZZ-Studios. Then I thought of adding in Sasha sitting nude off camera resting in between takes, followed with thought of then turning it into a three panel b&w BNW strip with Derrick throwing Daisy over his shoulder and carrying her off to the bedroom... but then decided to have the best of both worlds doing the current large 2 panel FAD comic.
Mind of the crazed cartoonist folks.
I also need to bring back Christy Chipmunk... perhaps at PAT or at least a FAD pinup.
