MemberBeen there, done that. Only had a desk fan and a humidifier for comfort during a hellish record-breaking winter drought weekend. I survived... barely.

MemberEverybody understands best what they grew up with. No system is 'easier to understand' than the other. For example: Some metric countries measure body height in imperial. Some people don't use base ten. Some countries write big numbers like this: 10.00.00.000
There are many ways to do something, but people will always understand best what the people around them are doing already.

BlockedAnd there are the ones that bitch about others using a different way than them, even when it doesn't affect them...

MemberDepending on what you are working with each system has its uses. If something is not picky at all out what temp it is at, as long as it is within a certain large range C is great.
Now if you are working with something were +/- 1 degrees C could kill it or make it explode use F, do not fool around with decimals in C, just use the range of temps that come with it in F.
Now for those super oh so sensitive to temp substances use Kelvin.

Member102 and she's already naked, I deal with over 100 degrees Summers in a black t shirt, dark blue jeans, and black rubber boots in a garage working ass off all day, and I deal with -10 degrees Winters wearing the same clothes, but with a light jacket and long Johns.
