Jan 7th: Small update to the Uploading Guidelines today: We now no longer allow paintovers of AI generated content. Or in other words AI generated content that has been edited to some degree by humans.
Dec 1st: If your account has been hit in the most recent ban wave of compromised accounts please reach out to us at management[at]e621.net and we'll help you get your account back.
If you've already contacted us give us a moment to get to you, though if it takes longer than a day for us to get back to you do feel free to reach out again!
Dec 2nd: If you got got and suddenly aren't able to see any of our exquisite selection of sausage and taco posts double check that Safe Mode is disabled in your account settings (Account -> Settings -> Safe mode [right above the blacklist text box]).
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

BlockedI'll be sure to tell everyone to dress their horses, else it's pornographic...
SnowWolf
Former StaffI get what you're saying, "oh no, a sheath! The Horror! THE HORROR!" ... and it honestly bugs me a bit to have a anatomically correct feral tagged explicit-- but I can understand it. where's the line between, say, this image and post #1407268 or post #1315102 ? It's easy for you or I to draw a line in our brain between a 'tasteful' nude and and an explicit one... but is that line where everyone else would draw it?
It's "easiest" to say that anything with those sexy bits are explicit. Even when they're in no way a focus, and are an animal being drawn realistically.

MemberSheaths are allowed on sites like DA though but for the most part, as in most paintings and general photographs that are not a focus and tend to be simply a bump where the belly ends and the leg begins. I can understand the need to err on the side of caution though.
