Description
"Hreh, humans have some bizarre traditions. Egg-laying rabbits are a new one to me... Are you sure this is the correct way of celebrating?"
character is stated female on artist's furaffinity page.
There are a lot of things humans do that seem entirely alien to a race such as the Charr. Chocolate eggs are not the type of thing to pop up in their culture. Times are changing though, and with the treaty in place it's time to learn how your new allies think. What better way than taking part in their holidays? Just make sure you get a good teacher!

MemberHoly shit this charr lady is gorgeous

MemberAnd tags fixed from cuntboy/intersex to female since female charr. If you're that uncertain of something, at least check out the source and see what it says there.
Daff
MemberI love this policy.

MemberCharr species and "cuntboy" was discussed countless times before, and it was ruled out that they are far enough from human, and their gender must be judged by feral standards, not by human ones. So usual "female = boobs" is not working here. She is female.
Khanco
MemberIf it is my character and I know she's a female can I change it?
Khanco
MemberOr could it not be tagged as multiple genders? I understand that to an outsider it looks like a cuntboy and they might not want to see it, but as an insider (and the fact she's she's mine) I deffinitely see her as a female
VadonShibata
MemberSee, while it keeps arguements over characters from happening the policy DOES run into these grey areas quite commonly with species that normally don't have breasts or other defining features despite everyone confirming that...wouldn't it be possible to have a sort of adjustment made for a community vote? Like say if enough people can agree on what gender or otherwise it is then the tag could be considered? After all if enough people tag it as they see it then it would be an agreed upon tag in these cases.
I could be just hoping too hard though. Mind you I'm not saying on EVERY image, just one where gender is hard to determine due to a case like this.

MemberAnd also the owner of the character spoke up and confirmed they're female, so think that's good enough reason to switch it from intersex/cuntboy and back to female.
skunk in scarf
Former StaffI linked both reasons why that isn't happening. "Tag What You See; Not What You Know" is very clear, and the forum post was an admin ruling before she retired.
rednikzelong
MemberSo people who a looking for charr female will be unable to find picture with charr female, only because such picture is tagged as intersex, due to tag description that was made for human-like anthros?
skunk in scarf
Former StaffI wish we had lore tags. I do. It would cut down on all the unnecessary takedowns and arguments we have to deal with.
But I'm not a coder, so I have no idea how hard it would be to implement or if it's even possible.
TWYS isn't perfect, but it's what distinguishes us from other boorus.
VadonShibata
MemberIt was worth asking about though. Sorry if it sounds like we're nagging you on it, but yea it WOULD be nice to have a tag set for lore or how to deal with lore appropriated things. Still the policy might not be perfect but it HAS cut down on your work so its obviously working for the most part.
tsai
MemberThat's bullshit, I see a female charr here. These horns are for female charr only, the fluffy tail is also only seen on female charr although you can't see the whole tail here.
The face also looks female, look at some male Charr faces and tell me this isn't a female face.
rekohunter
MemberHas this policy been changed recently? Because it is not being universally enforced if not. If it has this image needs to be changed tag wise.
Xereth
MemberInterestingly enough, this image is still the only charr image with the 'cuntboy' and 'intersex' tag, even when many other images with very little shown were tagged as 'female'.
I agree with tsai's comment. Those horns were (until recently) female only. The whole headshape is also only for females (all male charr have a very teeth-baring face shapes). Tail is also shown to be fluffy from the start, another thing ONLY FEMALE CHARR HAVE. So should we tag every female charr as cuntboy on this site just cause they don't have tits? I understand that it's a TWYS rule, but most who see a charr in this pic also see that it's CLEARLY A FEMALE.
Xereth
MemberAnother thing to add, should we just make every image that has "flat_chested" on it into locked "cuntboy intersex" tags? Flatchested female scalies for example, their scales cover the torso making it look completely flat, should we also just change all those from female to cuntboy just because there's no breasts shown?
This is why I insist on throwing the cuntboy tags off of this image, since it doesn't make any sense. TWYS rule also works for it, since we see a female, and most likely everyone who searches for charr knows what a charr female looks like.
