It's almost like Activision and EA have a cold war going to see who can be the most evil, money-hungry publisher. I'd say this puts Activision way out in front. When I heard people bitching about the game I thought it was the usual stuff: bland, unimaginative re-iteration of the franchise, that kind of thing. This is a whole 'nother fucking level. Seriously, how hard is it to copy-paste character design? Ugh.

waaaah, spyro was never pretty and the games were never above average. nothing of value was lost.

I like the old Insomniac Spyro.

Toys for Bob developed Skylanders, not Activision. Activision just distributed it. I agree though, this is a disgrace. Hopefully it'll be put into the right hands someday. But activision really wants yo hang on to this.

I grew up with this version of Spyro (that's a yikes to say. Don't worry I'm 20.) It was probably because I was an idiot kid but I didn't think Spyro looked all that bad. I think what made him look bad was Skylanders SSA overall build quality. Idk but seeing these comments from 11 years ago is pretty funny to me. This thread had every right to be upset and I'd like to remind you all of Chrash Bandicoot's design in Crash:Mind over Mutant.
