    This is not fair!

How is this not fair? We've been waiting for literal years to see a dominant, top male Lucario from Haychel. This is the first time Haychel has ever drawn a Lucario dominating someone, it's a beautiful, fantastic peice, and yet you think it's somehow not fair? I'm sorry, I'm trying not to get overly angry, but you've got to see where I'm coming from. I've been waiting for SO LONG for this, and when it comes, the only comment on it is just, "it's not fair." How would you feel if someone did this to the pictures you enjoyed? This is a legitimately uplifting piece. It made my day, it made me feel better about
Myself and it's something I find truly, incredibly attractive.

Furry porn is srs bsns. Jokes aside, there doesn't exactly seem to be any context to that comment, so I'm not quite sure if you were both referring to the same thing... On the other hand, I can certainly empathize with waiting forever for a certain kind of picture to be made haha. If it's that important to you, you can always commission someone y'know. It's not like most artists have a particular grudge against a certain kind of picture or something. Most furry art is just the byproduct of the commissioner's wishes.

You're right. Totally overeacted. Thanks for not ganging upon me like a lot of people tend to do. It's seriously what's gotten me so bitter about this. I don't know, just cynical because of the crappy weather out here or something. I don't completely agree with the "most furry art is the by product of commissioners wishes," though. I'd like to believe that a lot of the art I enjoy is made because the artist wanted to see more of something that is underrprespresented, or had a group of characters whose stories they wanted to tell. I guess this is why I tend to like more ambitious projects. Usually people don't commission them and there isn't a bias. Although there are exceptions, and something Artists can be incrediblely sweet and I'm glad that they're receiving money for their beautiful work. Thanks for sympathizing with me none the less!

Yeah I guess I should've said "A lot" rather than "most." If most artists mainly did commissions instead of personal work it would probably feel too much like a job.

They should make a version where the bottom creature is female. Like Monster Kid said, people have been waiting a long time for a piece like this. Then it turns out gay. That's why very straight folks are feeling severely disappointed.

    A. Again, it's up to the commissioner at least in this case.
    B. There's a blacklist for a reason if you don't like this sort of thing.

  • Just putting this out there, I was just explaining the psychology behind the first comment. I actually really love this picture, and Haychel's one of my favorite artists.

You have to consider that most of Haychel's pics are about male on male intercourses, besides, the artist and/or the commisioner aren't forced to obey the requests of straight people if they don't want to. If this pic wasn't about gay content, it would be on my blacklist, so I'm quite with the characters being both male.

I have to disagree with Monster_Kid, I always prefer having Lucario and pokemons in general in the bottom position, but, in the end, whataver his position, the picture itself is wonderful. I simply love the detail on the flowers, the shading, the light, and how well-placed is the internal view.

Thank you both, sorry I took so long to get back to you by the way! I appreciate your posts quite a bit Rad Dudesman, your posts are always some of my favorites, and the profile picture is just badass! Sorry if I said that already, I guess I'm just ass kissing now because you both made me feel a lot better. And yeah, I appreciate that you agreed with me even if you like Pokémon on the bottom, I mean I can still appreciate it.8 If I took up art more often, and started drawing art for people, I'd probably be doing a lot of art with Pokémon on the bottom, and it wouldn't be so bad. I guess it's just the nature of the game and the art. And ya know what, I'm alright with that. We can continue this conversation in Pms if need be, I wouldn't want to hold people up or go on for too long!

  • How exactly was "dominant Lucario" a rare theme with Haychel? Was it something they didn't want to draw for awhile, or one of those weird "a ton of people want it but nobody wants to commission it" things?

    I'm rather confused.

Of course! That's fine, and I completely agree. A lot of Lucario pictures revolve around the idea of being his/her master, and having complete control over them, which is perfectly fine and okay, but it does make the "not creepy shit" like this stand out quite a bit! It makes it easy to understand why people like me are happy to see more of it, right? But of course, wete not here to make you uncomfortable or hog the comments, just having a friendly discussion. After all, that's a big part of what makes this site great, right? Analyzes something that's usually so taboo?

I think most of what I said before applies here, but yes, Haychels' Lucario character, whom he refers to as Leon, as well as the characters in a lot of the comissions he does are always very VERY submissive, and always a bottom (which means they're receiving ), thus why pictures like this, with him
On the complete opposite end of the spectrum for both of those things is fresh air!

    And lastly,

Oh, so you are jealous of the way this of is being treated? Oh, that's cute! I suppose I agree then, I do feel that way as wel! Maybe try to work on communicating it better in the comment though? No hard feelings, I didn't even downvote you!

Same reason anyone gets anything in this world: he has more money than you do!

  • Third time the charm, I'm wondering WHY does that piece of color (what would others see as a character) get(<underlined, double meaning) a Lucario and I DON'T.

I don't know, really. I don't know if I even deserve him. I'm too much of a lazy slacker and a bit of a prick honestly. Would a Lucario even be happy if he lived with me? There are some days I agree with you a lot, though, a lot of people get Lucario's who don't deserve them. I don't find the original character that obnoxious though. I kinda like him.

If we keep this up though, we're probably gonna get asked to continue it elsewhere or get a lol comments tag.

So is it fine to depict a pokemon be submissive to it's master or is it creepy? You can't have both either it's OK or it's creepy.
