Rule 34 is a "redundant" tag, since all porn is Rule 34 by definition, which is why I do my best to stamp out Rule_34 tagging

I thought Rule 34 was good for stuff there wasn't much porn of or is really obscure.

Rule_34 tag is admin certified as a valid tag. It specifically applies to porn of people who you would not "expect" to see porn of (if it wasn't for an awareness of Rule 34). 99.9% of the time, Rule_34 applies to copywrite commercial characters (That are not fandom exclusive).

Porn of a porn star (like zig zag), or an "amateur" (like any generic random fan-made furry character) is not Rule 34.

Porn of an orgy between the Brave Little Toaster, Bugs Bunny, Batman, the Teletubbies, and the Ninja Turtles, is Rule 34.
