I am sure the answer to this is somewhere I am just not smart enough to find it. But anyway, when would the best time to remove this (tagme) tag from a post since there is over 1000 images tagged with this and most seem to have a adequate amount of tags to them.

Is this just a issue of someone needs just go in and remove them (I would have no problems doing this) or would that be stepping on some kind of "needs approval" toes?

Or of I am just being dumb? Go ahead and let me know, I don't mind. Just trying to help.

Presumably, there's a more thorough version of that somewhere around as well, but I've never stumbled across it more than twice

You can remove tagme once you've added the bulk of the obvious tags. Depending on the complexity of the image this is probably somewhere between 5 and 15 tags.

A bit late I know but here is the more complete list of what should be tagged. I also made a Grease Monkey Script to help speed this up for anyone who is interested.

more tags is always better. Some posts you really cannot add 10 tags to, but most posts can get up to at least 10 or 15 easily. Feel free to leave the tagme on a post if you feel that a lot more could still be added without stretching (as in, a post with 5 characters will likely need far more then 15 tags for adaquate tagging.

tagme order:tagcount <-- Search for this to find tagme tags that can probably be taken off of pictures. Just be sure to give them a once-over for things they're missing while you're taking the tag off.

tagme order:tagcount_asc <-- Search for this to find the tagme tags that need the help most.

While I am sure there are others that could have done it better I did manage drop 7 pages worth of images from the "tagme" pool. Either by them being fully tagged and just setting there or finishing out there tags to the best of my ability.

Though now that I am here the "tagme order:tagcount_asc" thing would have been great about 8 hours ago....
