Topic: "Hindpaw" too broad?

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

I've got a thing for talons and raptor (bird, not dino) feet, so I added a few "birdfeet" tags to some images of mine, and some others. I found the tags deleted, and after a discussion with an admin, it seems like there's no current convention for keeping track of certain types of "hindpaw".

Any thoughts on how to go about starting such a thing? Perhaps "avian_feet" would be better, then we could have things like "dragon_feet" or "canine_feet" (or "canine_paws", I dunno).

I think we should remove the alias. Then we can put feet on all images with characters that don't have paws, but whose walking/standing bits are emphasized, without worrying about it being hindpaws. That's a murry-purry furry tag, in my opinion. It's cute, it's fun, but it just muddles up the matter. We don't use forepaw for hands- rightfully so- so let's get this back to feet.
