Please don't. One vein is okay to me, multiple veins are gross (warning: my opinion). Aliasing would cause more problems than implicating, which I suggested. In retrospect that was a bad idea. And vein to veins is a little bit wrong, don't you think? Vein is one, veins is more than one. More than one includes one, not the other way around. If this aliase is going to be approved, I'd vote for veins --> vein. But it's a no for me now.

Sort of like how nobody ever talks about just one breast? Thus why breast has been aliased to breasts?

In favor of implicating as we have so many tagged right now would be a shame to just alias them away when they can serve a purpose, as I said before
