I recently restarted my entire tumblr because I felt I was going far too off-topic.

2 days have gone by since I restarted it and I've gained one follower, a favorite on FIMFICTION and a couple more positive reviews.

Of course the topic of my stuff is touchy, and not nearly everyone's favorite cup of tea but there is always a way to find the people who do enjoy this stuff.

Since I've been told I can actually advertise things here if I don't get any money from them, and if they are art based, I will provide the link somewhere in here but feel no need to click on it for this example. I'll explain everything here:

The biggest problem I have with this is that I don't draw my entry's. They are written, and I provide one picture above every entry. Right now I only have 1 entry because of the restart but I'm posting another one tomorrow if not tonight, I don't know because my internet is acting up.

The second problem is I don't really advertise it anywhere. I don't know where to advertise it. I posted it on 4chan /mlp/ and gained nothing. I posted it on fimfiction as chapters and gained almost all my audience from there.

Obviously I'm not the best at drawing or at writing but I've seen worse get far more followers then I have. (all of 8) I don't mind having this small following, I understand things take time and effort but I also want to know if there is anything I can do to help it along.

Any ideas on where I can advertise this? How to get people aware that it even exists? Any idea's at all are helpful. The original version of the tumblr got mixed reviews with 32 entrys before I restarted it to focus more on the explicit content rather then the story content. Now that I am focusing on this and writing in more detail I've only gotten one negative review out of the 12, which is better considering last time it was 19 negative with 22 positive.

Suggestions like a gimic to develop or something similar will be fine. If you don't wish to look at the tumblr the characters are:

And it's from MLP of course. Just let me know if you think of anything, I've never asked for advice like this before so I hope the information I've provided is adequate.

Not sure how to advertise authors, but you have advertise yourself. If you're really desperate for followers, pull off a Smudge Proof and offer to draw/write anything, no matter how disgusting or vile it is

1. Be attractive

3. Post selfies

I'd be willing to draw some fucked up stuff. Mostly blood/gore but I'd have no issue sawing a ponies arm off if that's what people wanted :P

Oh, I forgot to mention. Draw gift art and submit it to popular tumblr personalities, with your url prominently featured at the bottom. That's sure to rope in some interested onlookers.

@Cutedementia: use more than one gallery resource or use social network links, if that's actually what you're seeking. That would both help yo u to appear in searches results and increases chances that people find you.

Well after some off-key tumblrs like LMR or (I've never seen it so I may be wrong) Discord Whooves. They seemed to have met with some success. And the posting layout for Tumblr is pretty good. (In my eyes) But if anyone has a recomendation for a site that features this sort of stuff or just a community that's more involved in it then go ahead and list some links for me.
