Against this. First off, some are grey. Second, since when did furries care about the original species' colouration when designing their characters?

My fursona is an Arctic fox, but she's actually got blue fur after an accident after working at the paint factory.

some subspecies have blueish - but not blue - winter coat
arctic foxes are white only in winter coat, except some which never have white fur in either state.
And yeah, later generations of furries often deviate from natural color, to be original and different from precursors or to comfort themselves with fave color - making their 'sona as kind of "soul beast" :P
