There are non-xmen marvel characters named "beast".
Frankly, making the xmen tags into _(xmen) not the other way around.

Name one.
...I mean, what other Beasts? There are no other ones listed in various the comic databases, as far as I can see.
Besides, *_(x-men) is inaccurate when most characters have been members of multiple groups by now. It's better to put them all under one disambiguation, for easier tagging and searching.

It took me about 5 minutes in google to find it, try again.

I could do that -- or I could spend that time doing something useful, such as tagging.
Since you already looked it up, how about telling us?

There are alternate reality versions of Dr. Henry McCoy, but that's all I can find. Personally, I'd rather tag him by his real name rather than his pseudonym, and have it aliased to his real name for searchability.

I really appreciate the calm answer you gave to another person who asked you to acquire certain information yourself instead of getting it by said person, because said person believes it should be very easy to acquire said information and that's why said person doesn't want to give you the damned information.
Maybe he means the different incarnations of "Beast"?

Seriously Marvel, fuck you. What sort of asshole creates characters whose variations are used across 100 different universes?
This kind of character recycling respells me from getting into the western comic fandom.

Beast of the Hand is the demon's proper name, not just Beast. Atop that, it's STILL just a variation of Hank McCoy from another earth. Invalid.

Nope, and nope, Earth 616 is mainstream setting Marvel, so the Earth 616 variation of Hank McCoy is standard Xmen Beast.
And the "of the Hand" part is simply to show that he is the Beast that leads the Hand, not the xmen one in regular discussion, it's not his proper name at all.
He was in fact named Beast when he lead Snakeroot, the ninja group that took over the Hand, so before he ever was part of the Hand.

Somewhat obscure villain from the 80s?
I don't expect it to be a problem, but if some art of him does get posted, we can disambiguate it as beast_of_the_hand.
Though I wouldn't be adverse to tagging Beast by his real name. Since, from what I can remember, he actually uses it a lot -- unlike most other characters.
