Topic: Tag Alias: closed_mouth -> invalid_tag

Yep, I don't think it's needed.

Similar alias was discussed in forum #83095: eyes_open got aliased to invalid_tag, for the same reason.

(There's also the closed tag, which is mostly used for closed mouth or closed eyes. That one's even less useful..)

I agree as closed_mouth (more or less) is the natural form of the mouth or rather should I say where it is most often found

I can hear "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" so it's either normal or we're both fucked.

it might be

I disagree. Partially opened mouths exist. open mouth as we use it is indicative of a fully open mouth. closed mouth is indicative of a firmly shut mouth. if the lips are pressed together, it should be tagged as such.

Might help to post an example to support your case.

Currently, I agree with nuking this tag.

I think then perhaps we could have a more specific tag like pursed_lips or clenched_mouth

That sounds like a better idea. I like pursed lips, since we already have clenched_teeth or something of the sort where the lips are spread but the jaw is firmly closed.
