They're definitely canines, but they're also currently classified as a wolf subspecies. So an another alternative would be to implicate them to wolf instead.

But since dogs aren't implicated to wolf either, I think this is fine. No objections.

Dingos are commonly referred to as wild dogs, rather than as wolven subspecies; I think implicating them to canine is just fine.
