Hello, there. I'm new here and I have a quick question.

I'm an artist on furaffinity(not a spectacular or popular one, mind you, but an artist nonetheless) and I was wondering about getting a tag attached to my name. I'm aware that there's a page for creating an artist, but I thought that creating my own tag would be a bit... pretentious? So, I guess I'm wondering if that's an okay thing to do. Wouldn't want to leave a bad taste in everybody's mouth when I only just started posting here.

Just upload your art and tag your artist name. If it comes out as a general tag, just click "Edit" under the image and put "artist:noiz" in the tags. It will make it an artist tag

Artist profile created, ask an admin to link it to your account, if you want to.

Well, yes. I'm aware of this. But, correct me if I'm wrong, to my understanding there is a list of specified artists on the artist tab. Does tagging my name in the work automatically add me to that?

Again, excuse my ignorance. I'm new to this place. ^^;

Troube? Nah. Besides, I don't really have anything better to do right now other than lurking the forums, so...

Also, if you edit the artist profile, anything in the 'notes' section will appear on the tag's wiki page.

And I see you've met luna. Interesting individual, no? I must admit, though. I find his juvenile logic somewhat humorous as much of a pest may be. Through most of today I had nightmarish thoughts of if he ever became an admin. *shudders*

Well, I don't feel I'm in any sort of position to insult or judge him in any way. Although I can't help but question his logic. Oh, well. I suppose there's no real point putting any more energy forth to the subject. Something about his pretentious behavior made me tick, though. I'll admit.

Agreed lol. "Not all criticism needs to be constructive," well maybe not. But you can't say that and claim you aren't a troll at the same time.
