As the title suggests. I've seen online that sometimes it can be refered to as polishing, but when I tried searching, the only results were actually of literal polishing (horns and the like).

Can you show those examples?
It does sometimes get referred to as "glans polishing" or "glans blame" online, but it may include a wide range of methods to stimulate the glans (e.g., cloth_glans_play).
On the other hand, palming on this site generally only applies to posts that uses a hand instead while glans_play is the general tag for all forms of sex play involving the glans.
