I predict this will end poorly. There have been multiple threads before on the topic of joke tags being allowed. Well, unless the new rules decided to ban them.

It's a tag created when someone could not remember the name for a ripper. Thus it should be aliased to Ripper, as anyone searching the tag is looking for a ripper. Plus with how ungodly long it is it is the very definition of needless tag bloat. :x

I'm for reverse alias. First tag is more descriptive than other. :)

Nah, Pinkie Pie breaks the fourth wall (or just plain pops up) in startling ways I have never seen fully reproduced elsewhere, so it's actually appropriate as a tag.

lost my keys actually has at least one image where a wallet or keys were placed inside the anus or vagina and someone, I think Zigzag, had to go fisting for them. So, that's an actual tag too, even if it's usually used jokingly-ish to refer to fisting plus arm length (varies). EDIT: https://e621.net/post/show/241365 here's another example. If you can come up with a fandom-neutral term for pinkie_pie_outta-fucking_nowhere, that fits all points that it is currently used in, then be my guest in suggesting it. I can't think of one that does it proper justice, so as far as I'm concerned, it is valid because it is tagging something that is actually unique.

Lost my keys, as I stated and provided links to, actually has a real use, for people 'losing' their keys or wallet up someone's anus or vagina. Do please try creating a neutral non-joke tag for this that doesn't sound utterly rediculous that the simple phrase, "Lost my keys" doesn't already provide.

I'm not being subjective with these tags, but looking at them objectively.

You're misunderstanding something here. This IS fun for me. Ensuring that tags remain as accurate and efficient as possible by not being too over-broad or too over-specific is an enjoyable pasttime for me. There's others like me that work to try and keep the tags appropriately applicable. It's part of why we have the best tagging system of any 'booru/image site.

On topic: If this tag was actually used with any regularity, or actually had a use beyond noting a meme (which could just be tossed into the description of the [ripper]] tag or onto the images related to the meme) as the other two discussed in this thread, I'd not have bothered posting it for alias. As it stands it just takes up three-four lines in the tag list for no reason other than to say, "There's a meme of forgetting the name of these".... which obviously never caught on, considering no one else here has heard of it, but is just defending it because it's a joke tag. :|

I wish to direct your attention to the small ? next to every tag which takes you to the tag's wiki page. I will link the wiki page for this tag here for convenience. that_one_bug_that_looks_like_a_croissant_that_you_can_freeze_and_use_as_a_platform. This explains why the tag exists. The tag also deserves to be a "species" type tag because it's accurately referring to one particular species of creature by a unique name. Just because it's a silly name does not mean it's not a unique identifier for a particular thing which is basically all words are anyways. As another example, the "Disgaia" video game features a character who's name is literally "Mid-Boss" which is silly but that doesn't make it any less valid of a name.

Also I had this argument like a year ago with the admins and lost it so I would be buttmad if you won it. Therefore I support joke tags.

Mid-Boss may be a silly name, but it IS his name, canonically (And is far better than names like La-a, pronounced 'La-dash-a', or Courage Wolf Harper, poor kid). Laharl literally renamed him to Mid-Boss instead of Vyers. He even starts calling himself Mid-Boss because of it.

Comparatively, that_one_bug_that_looks_like_a_croissant_that_you_can_freeze_and_use_as_a_platform doesn't provide anything that doesn't just belong on the wiki page for Rippers, which is already the unique name the species of creature is known by canonically. If we just allowed all unique identifiers of anything, then we'd still be using tags like scootalove, scootahate, scootabuse and the like because they're 'unique identifiers' for abusing/hating/loving scootaloo.

Just because you lost the argument doesn't mean it shouldn't be made. Going by how it's looking, though, it looks like I'll be failing as well, unfortunately.

Considering at least three of the pictures aliased to that tag ARE that exact phrase, Because in-jokes, I'd say it stays and some people should be more focused on things that matter.

I dont think it needs an alias or implication. It just sort of exists.
