Topic: Similar sites to e621

I'm wondering if there is a site similar to e621 but for non-furry art?
I'm looking for somewhere with a solid tag and search system, and not flooded with AI slop

Danbooru would be my go to, with the caveat that tag searching is limited to like two tags max per search. Explicit mandate for archiving only anime-style art.
Gelbooru is pretty OK, though if you're super not into AI, it's probably a no-go.
Sankaku channel exists, I guess. Not a fan personally, though ymmv.

Sankaku is like danbooru if it was run by Palantir.

This is one thing I hear a lot when I delete something for irrelevancy, then it might be artist pleading how this is only website they can post all their stuff and now they cannot have one of their human artworks here.
But it's true that there really isn't e621 for western art. There's bunch for anime and japanese stuff, then bunch for rule34, but nothing for non-furry western OCs and safe art technically.

Even with javascript disabled it does feel like the whole website is just dead and only there to have as much content as possible, like some of those rule34 website you can find on google and there's actually nobody living there doing anything.

Even without being "western focus", e621 allows furry art that's western or eastern both. In the past, there wasn't even a ban on human characters; while I understand the logic around so many users not being a fan of humans, as someone who likes it all, I do hope to see more sites pop up. E621 is unique in how high quality the systems are.

I don't think there is any. Rule34.xxx is the closest I can think of and it's so far behind e6 in terms of tags. I really wish we could have an e621 but for humans because of how the tag system is and the fact that duplicate images are actually flagged. I'd do it myself and basically fork off of e6 (a sister site) but I have no idea how I'd even start.

Newgrounds.com is the closest thing.

Really the hardest parts are picking a good name and actually getting in front of your target audience
I've ran several clones of e621ng, the hardest part actually setting up is figuring out what you need to change since the code isn't production ready and has no real production setup instructions
