I've noticed that the post #5983935 I've uploaded was removed by some staff named Mairo for being a "duplicate" of post #5807381 now maybe I'm a bit biased cause I'm the uploader but I think it's a bit retarded for a video with voice acting to be considered a "duplicate" of a still image. How can I get it restored?

Coming at the staff with immediate hostility isn't how you resolve this
audio is irrelevant to posts, and we do not accept slideshows of existing images
That deletion is perfectly valid
Usually you would reach out to whoever deleted it (Mairo ), but they specifically ask on their profile page that you DM the head admin NotMeNotYou, instead.
The deletion is likely valid though, as Donovan DMC said.

we're not going to accept voiced comics, they're inherently lower visual quality than the original, and we also just wouldn't see the end of them.

Funny that you hone into the "duplicate" part but do not even consider the first "inferior" part of the reason.
Adding audio and shaky cam to a still image does not make it better.
There is also the issue of whatever quality loss/artifacting that occurred by rendering the image into a video.
How can I get it restored?

You definitely won't get it restored now considering you need to approach the janitor in question and politely ask them to reconsider with proper justification.
Lucky for you @Mairo is already sick and tired of having to explain what is wrong with every deletion they made, so you get to escalate the issue up to the head admin @NotMeNotYou.
You probably won't get a different answer than what you have gotten from us now though.
We've recently reworked our appeals process (see our Staff help page); you can go to our lead janitor, Strikerman. Other than that, I concur with the prior consensus.

No, that's not how you appeal for deleted uploads, read carefully the reason and the rules of the booru
I speak from experience, I'm a former VA who did a lot of third-party edits of existing animations, and I've had a number of my uploads taken down for similar reasons, sometimes even arbitrarily.
Had to learn this the hard way but getting immediately hostile and insulting staff is not how you resolve a situation of any kind.
Bruh.
Now call me crazy, but I don't think insulting staff members and using ableist slurs is the best way to go about contesting a deletion.
