The tag alias #80572 thorax -> arthropod_abdomen is pending approval.
Reason: I searched the thorax tag and it seems to be being used to highlight the bulbous abdomen of the arthropod, a common misconception. arthropod_abdomen
A thorax is actually the part of the spider that the legs attach to. thorax_(body_part) should refer to this. (and maybe be renamed and aliased to arthropod_thorax?)
I believe it would be best to move all uses of thorax to arthropod_abdomen and then have thorax alias to arthropod_abdomen, and have thorax_(body_part) alias to arthropod_thorax.
The goal is when a tagger or searcher types ‘thorax’, they are shown that they are shown thorax is not a root tag and they should disambiguate.
