Topic: [REJECTED] Tag alias: nargacuga_(armor) -> nargacuga_armor

Do we need a <monster>_armor tag for every monster from MH?

Moreover, the tag only has 4 posts in it. Just manually move the posts instead of waiting for it to be fixed via an alias request.

Only for the ones that are recognizable and distinguishable pieces of clothing. Looking at what is actually used on this side, that cumulates to around 15 armor sets

Alright, I can do that. I just thought using an alias request would be the formal way to do things

I do feel like there are certain sets which are used and recognizable widely enough to warrant unique tags, honestly. Nargacuga is one of them. Kirin and Odogaron also come to mind.

Additionally, while going around and appliyng tags, I've noticed that sometimes users would tag the monster if a character wears its armor, even if the monster itself is not present in the image. Having a dedicated tag for the armor should avoid this confusion

An alias request is only needed for problematic tags (which constantly get misused) or tags with a large number of posts (which is impractical to fix manually).

Submitting requests for tags with a low post count is trivial and would take a much longer time to be approved when it could be fixed within seconds.

Thanks for the input, I switched the tags manually and close this request now
