Topic: predator/prey BUR (predator_penetrating_prey and prey_penetrating_predator)

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #12476 is pending approval.

create implication predator_penetrating_prey (1064) -> predator/prey (16289)
create implication prey_penetrating_predator (985) -> predator/prey (16289)
create implication predator_penetrating_prey (1064) -> predator_penetrating (305)
create implication predator_penetrating_prey (1064) -> prey_penetrated (332)
create implication prey_penetrating_predator (985) -> prey_penetrating (365)
create implication prey_penetrating_predator (985) -> predator_penetrated (505)

Reason: Both tags (predator_penetrating_prey and prey_penetrating_predator) have predator AND prey in them,

AND predator_penetrating_prey wiki says
"Predator/Prey with the specific action of the carnivore penetrating the prey species."

is this the vore sense of the terms or, like, the ecological role or whatever sense of the terms?

It's supposed to be the ecological role, but extremely mistagged.

What about:
predator_penetrating
prey_penetrated
predator_penetrated
prey_penetrating

Thanks: to the BUR i've added:
imply predator_penetrating_prey -> predator_penetrating
imply predator_penetrating_prey -> prey_penetrated
imply prey_penetrating_predator -> prey_penetrating
imply prey_penetrating_predator -> predator_penetrated

Also predator penetrating == prey penetrated == predator penetrating prey, right?

Not 100% sure what that last bit it,
but I'm going to make an assumption and say that as far as i know ... i don't think there's a currently a way to get a combination of two specific tags to imply to a 3rd tag.

These are redundant and should be aliases instead. If a predator is penetrating, then a prey must be penetrated, and vice versa. These aren't/shouldn't be about individual classification (which would be excessive since all animals are either the prey or predator of something else, and some can even be both predator of something and the prey of something else), but more of a pairing role, that one is the natural prey/predator of the other. For example, a lion penetrating a tiger wouldn't be predator_penetrating_predator, because lions and tigers aren't both predators of each other, nor would a koala penetrating a cougar be prey_penetrating_predator because koalas aren't the natural prey of cougars.
