MC of the MHW game gets cursed(or blessed if you want to see it that way) to provide balance in the world by having to give birth to the baby version of every creature she hunts. Baby versions are 1:1 scale with baby versions of the monster she hunted so the bigger monster she hunts the harder the birth shall be.
Bad end version idea: She was actually a poacher that was cursed and her greed grows until she hunts a monster too big to give birth too.
