What about teachers' desks or administrative desks for the principal and the people manning the front office? It would seem to me that school_desk would refer just to the sorts of desk students use.

Is that really one type of specific desk? My school had both skinny desks with detached chairs as well as the cramped desks with attached chairs, surly the latter has a better name
