We already have a stickied thread. If everyone decides to make their own posts asking for help, they'll drown each other out.
There's no point in making a category especially since we can't filter out categories in the first place

If they won't click on the post dedicated to finding pictures, they probably also won't click on a random one made to help 1 user find 1 specific picture. In fact, people who do want to help other users find pictures will likely only click on the post dedicated to finding pictures & not random ones made to help 1 user find 1 specific picture.

...that's been bumped off the front page of the forums barely a day after it's made. as compared to the stickied thread that's always on the front page and titled that it's the place for finding artists, sources, and posts.
Half the point of topic #23835 is to improve your chances of finding a picture you're after. (The other half is to keep some of the clutter out of the rest of the forum to make it easier for all of us.)
