Topic: bulk taging request

Similar to alias delegation, first specifies a range of tags(sakehabera -kemono) Then indicate the tag you want to bulk taging(kemono) Then explain why you want to bulk taging(First of all, this artist's style has a very kemono feel, and secondly, he is a Japanese)

Privileged users can mass edit posts, just ask one of them. But in this case you don't even need anything fancy at all (if you're on PC) as the post count is pretty low.

Make sure you have keyboard shortcuts turned on. Copy kemono, open every sakehabera -kemono post, press Ctrl+Tab to switch between pages, press E to edit, press Ctrl+V to paste, click Submit with a bit of delay (so you won't get throttled by site).

Bulk tagging posts with a tag that might not be valid 100% of the time is a bad idea

Just use the edit mode rather than opening the posts at all

Thanks for reminding me about it. I didn't use it because it would scroll to the top, losing my position, but after some minor CSS adjustments, I will!

Minor CSS adjustments
/* (Post index/Edit mode) Makes editing form scroll, prevents scrolling back to the top when switching between posts, widens "Submit" button 25-10-03 */
#page[data-mode-menu="edit"] {.content {display: grid; #quick-edit-div, #posts {grid-row: 3; grid-column: 1} #posts {margin-top: 19rem; margin-bottom: 50vh}
  #quick-edit-div {height: fit-content; position: sticky; top: 0; z-index: 6;
   &:has(#quick-edit-form[action="/posts"]) {display: block} h1 {display: none} #quick-edit-form {
    .input {margin-bottom: 0; display: grid; grid-template-columns: auto 5rem; gap: .2rem;
     textarea {grid-column: 1/3; max-height: 15rem; width: 99.7%} input {height: 1.5rem} }} }} }

sneaky fix

I know that privileged users can mass edit posts,But I want to make this process faster.

And some bulk taging tasks require some thinking

Something like this has been suggested before though the idea did not really catch on since we already have tag scripting anyways.

It is actually not recommended to mass tag/blanket tag a bunch of posts at once without going through them one-by-one, which is why even tagging using the Edit mode or tag scripting is limited to very simple edits.

You can try suggesting your ideas on the Tag Projects thread to see if anybody wants to do it.

For bulk tagging tasks that require some thinking, I'd recommend using https://tagme.dev/. I'd still recommend you do as Wolfgang suggested & run it by the Tag Projects thread in forum topic #23571 first, as you have had trouble tagging in the past (you have gotten much better though; I see your efforts & I really do appreciate it), but you can use that site to achieve your goal far more efficiently & effectively.

By the way, you don't need to make multiple replies to multiple posts. Just hit Reply again & the other thing you want to reply to will be automatically added to your current message so you can just keep typing and submit it as a single post. To be clear, it's not a big deal, and I don't blame you for not knowing this, but it makes tracking the flow of conversation much easier.
