Topic: How to submit an old image of an artist?

Hi, allow me to elaborate... I have as part of my collection an image that I was just want to have the ID, however, when I look at the artist.The image is not here.
I don't know if someone forgot to post it, or if the artist forgot to post it, but every other image of this artist is here except that one. I want to submit the image
(since I have it in original quality) but is like an 8yo image. And it will kinda fuck up the timeline, since all his works are ordered by date and I don't want to ruin that.
Is there a way to submit this image BUT, set it in the approximated release date? so It doesn't appear as a new image and leave the timeline of posting intact?

No. We are a booru, not an art gallery. Ordering by date is not a concern here

You aren't fucking up anything, old artworks get posted all the time and it doesn't matter in what order.

You might also want to check and see if it was actually posted here before, but got deleted due to any reason by searching status:any alongside the artist's name or in the Similar Images Search.
Needless to say, things that were deleted already should not be posted again.

You can absolutely tag the year, as well. Sure in the short term that isn't an order by date, but when you've been in the fandom decades by year is pretty specific.
