Topic: Is there any way to blacklist tags ONLY when used in combination on an image?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Is there a way to configure my blacklists to hide images when a specific pairing of tags is used, but not when those tags appear separated to one another in images?

For example, say I dislike seeing NSFW of cats and would like to blacklist feline AND -rating:explicit, but not when either of those is separated, so that I can still see explicit images, and still see feline images, but I can't see explicit feline images.

If this is already a feature or setting, sorry for asking! I'm not too familiar with the tag system.

if you add tags to your blacklist on the same line, such as cat dog, it'll blacklist posts that are tagged both cat and dog. for ratings, either use rating:safe (etc.) on the same line if you want to avoid the rating, or -rating:safe if you want to blacklist anything not rated it.

To further elaborate you can even include optional things with ~. I have better examples but I'm trying to avoid any controversial examples so I'll make one up.

Say you like AnArtist but you really do not like how they draw zebras and giraffes in particular.

AnArtist ~zebra ~giraffe

The above would blacklist only those posts by the artist with either of them without having to use more than one blacklist line.

Perhaps thinking of each line as an inverse search is an easy way to explain it. If you do the search and see the image with your line, then that is what is blacklisted.
