The tag alias #79562 breed -> breeding has been rejected.

Reason: Highly populated tag that appears to be an alternate tag for the already invalid breeding.

EDIT: The tag alias breed -> breeding (forum #467163) has been rejected by @Moonlit-Comet.

I think it'd be best to update then disambiguate, dog breeds are a very common thing

That would work too, I just looked through the tag and saw no confliction with the concept of animal/plant breeds, so I assumed this would be a more straightforward option.

Wait what? Why are we moving 1.1k posts to the invalid breeding tag?
It should be mass updated to be more appropriate alternative tag, such as sex or impregnation (depending on what you saw when you looked through it).

Honestly I have no idea why Don suggested [and approved] that. I'm for nuking the tag directly and then aliasing it into invalid myself. I'll update the BUR when something is decided upon, but breed is redundant and doesn't need to exist either way.

My suggestions:

Nuke breed entirely and disambiguate, as it is used almost exclusively on sex or impregnation_request posts
Alias breed to breeding as was my original intention, there is almost no overlap between usage of breed and dog/animal breeds [minus one outlier I have found]
