Topic: e621 Speedrunning

A few years back me and some friends made a party game where you had to navigate from one e621 post to another using ONLY the tags, kinda like wikipedia speedrunning but with furry porn instead. The other day I was signed off work for a few weeks because of emergency surgery, so I decided to practice that by turning the game into its own website, with leaderboards, daily challenges, and multiplayer (for some reason).

I'm not a programmer by trade or qualification, so there's probably a few bugs. l'll take any questions, comments, or criticism below, but otherwise, please do enjoy!

Oddly enough, on my first random to random attempt, it started me at the destination (both sides showed the same post). I'm not sure if something bugged out or not.

Whoops, it did. Someone decided to test it by setting a start and end post to the same, I'm writing a script to stop that now lol

Ngl as the eurofurence e621 champion 3 years undefeated, I figured that although I am aptly qualified, there can be only one biggest degenerate and I suspect that title will go to whichever Janitor has had to wade through the deepest depths of tags that should have never been

• Idk if it's already implemented, but you could add the advanced settings as query parameters to let people easily share custom rulesets.
• A crazy custom rule would be to disable related tags on the search page (or even just adding tags to the searchbar; force people to find the best niche tag & guessing the page)

• Didn't know there was a login API for e6, but I've just done a little bit of an implementation to see how well it works and it's looking good so far
