Naval has to do with boats/navies.
I can't say for sure that it's a tag that will be used, but it might be.
So, not really just a misspelling for navel, I don't think this would be a good alias.

I just edited the tags on 210 posts, all of which were misspellings of navel. There wasn't a single post relate to the navy.

And that means that there never will be?
Sorry, but this isn't just a case of misspelling, naval is a potentially usable tag, and shouldn't just go away because people can't spell.

Anything related to the Navy and boats should be tagged navy and boat respectively. Naval is never going to be the correct usage for either of those subjects.
