Feels like we've got a script that's mass-uploading trash art lately. Trying to stem the tide, but it's tough. I'm up to 1600 on my blacklist already. Is there a hard limit I should know about?

150,000 text characters, so you should be fine for a while yet. If you're concerned that a single user is uploading all these posts you're blacklisting, you can blacklist the uploader's userID with the string userid:123456[IIRC, with the numbers being their profile ID] to save some space on your blacklist.

Good to know. Thank you. I'm at 20,337, but if this keeps up, I'll hit that limit for sure.
Most posts don't seem to list an uploader, though. I've been looking for that.

You can find the uploader in the tag history, they’ll be the first tagger.
What are you trying to blacklist? There’s probably a more efficient way to blacklist them so you can save some lines

Displaying uploader below a post (from faucet on the discord)
#image-container::after { white-space: pre; content: "\aUploaded by: " attr(data-uploader); }
(is pseudoelement so you can't copy and paste)

Lots of "first-timers" flooding the site all at once. Makes me suspicious.

Ah yeah, not much you can do about that, just more people trying to share their art, not an organized mass upload, Although 2 of those were definitely below the quality threshold so I’ve gone ahead and removed them.

I mean, I'm not saying for certain that it's something nefarious. All I know is I've been hard at work with my blacklist and the site still looks like this year's april fools. Been that way for the past week or so. I can't be the only one who's noticed.

Well you can always blacklist score:<10 to have the other peeps filter out stuff for you
As an alternative, if you blacklist status:pending, you'll only get approved art, which guarantees to have met the minimum quality threshold the site requires.
As for the question in the title, the answer is yes*

If it's any consolation, I didn't either; now I know why we added that.
Anyways, the blacklist help page has all the available blacklist metatags & related info; I'd recommend giving that a once-over.
