A lot of my recent uploads to this site seem to be taking too long to meet moderator approval. I assumed that a bot does the checking, but it seems that its all human moderators who do it and I've been waiting for a few days for everything I've posted to go through. Is this because I posted too many all at once?

Janitors are slightly swamped with posts status:pending order:id and 4 days isn't that long when it can stretch up to 30
And no it has nothing to do with you posting too many at once (well unless you post like 300 then yes it does)

All post evaluations (i.e., approvals and disapprovals) are manually done by human staff, the automoderator only deletes posts that have been in the queue for more than 30 days (see about:mod queue).
Typically, it should only take a day or so for uploads to be approved.
However, those that get stuck for more than a week tend to be due to quality standard concerns as they straddle the line between what is normally approved and what is normally deleted.
In which case, the pending post will get "stuck" in the queue and passed around various staffs to evaluate until one staff makes a decision to either approve or delete it.
Judging by your uploads though, quality standards does not seem to be the issue here since multiple staff have approved similar posts before.
It might just be that they are currently struggling with the large number of pending posts still in the queue like @SNPtheCat mentioned.
Just be patient and wait for a few more days. If it is still pending after 20+ days and you are nearing the 30-day cutoff point, then you may raise the issue again with one of the staffs to quickly make a decision.
