I don't know where to go to report this but an hour ago I posted a WIP of my current art project/piece and it was removed without notice. I don't know what I did wrong or what is going on.

there isn't a notice for deleted posts, but you can see the reason on the upload's page.

we require a certain level of polish on artwork that the post did not meet currently. also it was rotated incorrectly and not photogrpahed/scanned properly.

I have seen people post things done in paint that looks like someone's first time drawing and they didn't get taken down.
I feel kinda shit about this, I'll be honest.

please link them to me and I'd be happy to look at them and delete them if they are that bad.
This isn't a personal gallery site, we have standards to uphold and that picture in it's current state does not fit, but as stated in your description it is a draft, the finished piece might be fine.

It's hard to draw the line at where something is "good enough" when there are multiple janitors with differing standards, some can be strict while others are lenient.
Approved uploads can get unapproved by another janitor if they feel that it does not meet our quality standard guidelines, so feel free to compile these posts and ask the other janitors for their opinions.

e621 is not meant to be a personal art gallery, but rather a curated imageboard with minimum standards.
Your artwork was deleted for two reasons: Does not meet minimum quality standards (Artistic) / Does not meet minimum quality standards (Bad digitization of traditional media).
- "Artistic" means that your skills are not good enough and we expect better quality works, so work on it. I recommend only posting here if the quality looks like the majority of approved posts here.
- "Bad digitization of traditional media" means you literally took a photo of a physical work badly. Invest on using a scanner or use a camera with good lighting.
It's also worth noting that some posts are grandfathered content that were submitted before the uploading guidelines were changed, & were preserved as a result; these wouldn't be allowed in if they were posted today.
