Topic: How to rename a character tag?

I've given my character (Fishy) an actual name (Aquamarine), and I'm not sure how to rename the tag. Should I make a new tag and replace it in each of my posts, or is there a proper way to rename the tag?

If the tag has less than 20 or so posts you can just temove the old tag and add the new tag to posts, else you can request an alias to do that movement in the background and forever into the future so even if in the future someone tried to use the old tag it would get automatically moved to the new tag

Nope. A tag being empty is effectively deleted.
